Bob Dole played the beta and enjoyed the sh1t out of the online. They improved a lot of things from the first one (such as the spawn-cam being excluded). He hasn't played the full version as he is still playing the single player campaign but will very soon. You should rent it and see if you like it then possibly go out and buy it if you like it enough. Win-win.

Bob Dole bought the second splinter cell for PS2 and took it back an hour later. Never really liked them either. But there's people who love the games so to each his own.

LBP already does that. It's up to the developer if they want to implement that feature.
Why should they do that? There's still plenty of people who don't have anything besides their PS2 that buy those games. Microsoft quit putting out games for the original Xbox and that killed that system.
